For music, think how much time a person spends “with” an artist by listening to their music, reading or watching interviews, going to shows and generally making that artist and their work part of their life story. some of that time could be spent with a virtual recording of the artist.

if paul maccartney or beyonce recorded themselves for a virtual dinner performance anyone could go see them on a date or out with friends in a virtual environment. they would perform in the background while people enjoy dinner, maybe telling some stories between songs, and then after dinner you and your date and your friends can go up and jam with them or just engage in a singalong of whatever songs you want to sing.
